The Kingdom of the Divine Will and Retreat March 8/9, 2014

May God's grace be with you!

This March 8 and 9 we're fortunate to be blessed with yet another Divine Will retreat.  Praise God, the Holy Spirit is moving to familiarize us with this gift of the Divine Will.  God, the Father Almighty, wants to pour out his love through us, because by living the gift of the Divine Will, our prayers, sufferings and actions become the powerful means by which his love can reach all of humanity.

In so many ways we do the best we can to do God's will through the help of his grace.  Today however, with Luisa Piccaretta (1865-1947) being the first to receive the gift, there is something far greater where God has made the sublime gift of living the Divine Will universally available to all who are in a state of grace.   We can now do God's will with His will! By operating in the infinite, eternal and perfect dimension of God's will Itself, there is no higher sanctity than the sanctity of the Divine Will, since by continuously living It, our actions become the consecrated Eucharistic Divine Life of Jesus Christ that is being communicated to the world for the conversion of all:  "Lord Jesus, in order to console You from the extreme pains of your Passion, I will pour myself continuously in You, to bring You into the hearts of all creatures, to make You known to all, and to give your life to all."

Therefore, let us love with God's love by living the gift!  Let us love God with his love and let us love others with his love.   Key to our spiritual growth, forgiveness happens when God's love is rooted in our hearts.  Living the Divine Will does not instantly make us a saint but It will accelerate the development of the theological virtues of faith, hope, charity and the cardinal virtues of prudence, fortitude, temperance and justice which will indeed lead to greater spiritual growth and holiness that will effectively make us a saint!  During these difficult times don't we need saints who will call down God's mercy to save a world from falling into the abyss?

Indeed, we become a living Host.  Therefore, if the believers of Christ are going to make a difference in transforming the world through our prayers, sufferings, and actions, this would be one powerful way for the Holy Spirit to manifest God's transformative presence.

It does not matter what type of spirituality we profess, the gift of the Divine Will enhances and fulfills it; it does not replace it.  This is a big deal:  centuries after his death, burial and resurrection Jesus is now making the gift available to complete the work on the cross in order to fulfill the Our Father - Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven!  We are called to advance our spirituality to the highest degree in order to prepare the world for his glorious return.  It makes wonderful sense to find out more about this awesome gift.

I can help in giving directions and answer questions....I hope to see many of you at the retreat!

Praise God and God bless!
